Mark Johnson

My passion for design started as a child living in an idyllic Caribbean environment. The Dutch island of Saba is a highly original place filled with a poetic mix of magical designs from both nature and man. 

Over the years as an artist, art history aficionado, and collector, I have satisfied my curiosity with extraordinary cultural experiences; whilst traveling the world in search of unusual colored gems. 

My work is an extension of who I am, and influenced greatly by nature, history, and travel.

I seek the unexpected.
